we have Netflix and it works fine on smart tv and on my iPhone 6
Each time I try to play it asks for my email& password but the keys will not let me put them in?

It sounds like you are trying to enter your login information in Netflix, but the text box doesn't seem to accept keyboard input. I would use the troubleshooting for webpage issues in Safari in this article:
