Ipod touch 6 screen damage

Hi, I recently had an accident with a 6th gen iPod Touch.

The left screen has a black bar and a blob onthe left.

The screen also has lost some resolution and the screen doesn't 100 % respond to touches. Whats the best I can do?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, iOS 8.4.1

Unless you purchased the option AppleCare+ extended warranty

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $99 for 16 6G and $149 for the other 6Gs. They do not fix yours.

Service Answer Center - iPod

You can do it at an Apple store by making an appointment:

Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar

or send it in to Apple. See:
