Pages Deleted

Have accidentaly deleted pages and emptied the trash. Is there any way I can get it again without paying for the app?

Thanks

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

If it is Pages v5.5.3 that you deleted, you can recover it from an earlier Time Machine backup, or sign in to the OS X App Store with the same Apple ID that you used to originally purchase/download Pages v5.5.3. Under purchases, you will see this Pages line item that you can download/install again.

If it wasn't Pages v5.5.3 that you deleted, and was Pages '09 instead, then there are a couple of options depending on how you originally obtained it. It is no longer available from Apple.

  1. From the OS X App Store prior to Fall 2013
    1. Restore from a Time Machine backup
    2. Item 2a from below.
  2. Originally installed by iWork '09 DVD
    1. Reinstall from the retail DVD, or purchase the retail iWork '09 DVD from Amazon.
    2. Then, update to last iWork '09 application versions with Apple iWork 9.3 update. Provides Yosemite compatibility.

The iWork 9.3 updater can only be applied to iWork '09 applications from the DVD.
