mac pro no dvd question

hi there, i just bought a new mac book pro.

very happy with the purchase but i just realised there was no dvd drive?? ok, a little surprised - but i have 3 questions.

1. my printer comes with a cd - how am i to load the printer software onto the mac??

2. with iMovie installed automatically (app) on the mac, is there any way to play my dvd movies that i own on the mac.....

3. i understand (haven't used it, so forgive me if it is a mistake) you can put your music you own into iTunes..... can you do the same for movies you own????

thanks for your help, just links will be fine as i am quite happy to read up about it.
