converting an MOV. video

My Canon camera puts movie/videos into MOV. I'm unable to burn these files. My research suggests that the MOV. is the problem

I'm going to try convert a movie using Zamzar. But, don't know what format to choose. It lists many choices. MP4?

Thanks

The format you use depends upon what is going to play the videos.

MP4 is a good and relatively universal format.

Depending on the size of your MOV files and your internet speed, uploading to Zamzar might be a lengthy operation.

You might look into a freebie converter such as Mpeg Streamclip-

Which will let you do the conversion locally on your computer. I've used it a lot and it's quite convenient.

Lots of options but I would suggest starting out with the default settings.
