The old "An error occurred loading this content" error again

This problem appears all over the forum, but not recently. Has everyone given up or has it gone away?

Trying to airplay content from iPad2, iPad3 or iPhone5s, same problem. ATV software updated to latest. I tried all the usual restart/reboot check network connections stuff but no result.

any new ideas?
