Optical bay speed question....

hi,

i have a MacBook Pro 13" late 2011. I plan on putting a ssd into the normal had space and putting a 1tb hgst 7200 hdd in an optical bay caddy.

What id like to know is does the optical bay caddy have any bearing on the speed of the hdd drive? I've seen some people say the caddy they Purchased only had speeds of 1.5gb/s - I just don't want the caddy to bottleneck the speed of the hdd.

in my system info it says my optical bay link speed is 6gb/s - and the hgst 1tb has a speed of 6gb/s - so I would presume that I would get that speed?
