cannot hide apps in family plan

In iTunes, I can hide movies, tv shows and music. I cannot hide apps (family plan). I don't get the "X" when I hover over the apps. Anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you solve it.

That seems to be an issue that cropped up with iTunes 11, I believe. The "x" is actually there, you just can't see it.

However, I also just checked, and it appears that you need to delete it first (so it goes to iCloud), then you have to go to Quick Links>Purchased, click on Apps, click on the device the device that the app resides on, you will see it with the Cloud on it. Hover over the upper left-hand corner where the "x" should be, and click. It will then be hidden.

There may be an easier way to do this, but that method works.
