Is there a way to persuade Safari 8.0.8 to stop deleting my Top Sites even after I have pinned them? I don't always click on each site each day, but I need them to stay where I put them. I don't remember this ever happening in earlier versions of Safari. Thanks.

Start fresh.
Delete all your current Top Sites then delete cookies.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click: Remove All Website Data
Quit then relaunch Safari then add your Top Sites back in.
