Effects are not showing during playback.

Effects, transitions, and generators I have added into my timeline are not showing when I play the video all of the sudden. I can see them on the timeline, but it's almost like they've all been deactivated somehow. How do I reverse this or reactivate them?

If they looked gray, then they've been muted. Two ways to do this. First is selecting them, hit V to mute and un-mute clips in the Timeline. The second way to do this is open the Timeline Index, go to the Roles section, and you can check and un-check specific Roles, to mute and un-mute media in the Timeline that have been assigned those specific Roles.

Otherwise I'd suspect the GPU being overloaded.
