Brand new windows 10 computer. Photos from my iphone 5s will upload to icloud and then download to my iPad. However I cannot get the photos to download to my Dell Windows 10 PC. I have loaded the iCloud windows software and checked the stream button in the iCloud setup.
What next? Apple says it is a Windows issue and do not have a fix.

thanks. Apple said it was a Windows issue and I should call them. Or go here and ask which is a lot more palatable than calling Microsoft.

How long are we talking weeks or months for iCloud and photos becoming available on Windows 10?
I have not seen any announcement about that yet.
Is there any other method to manage photos from iCloud? The photo stream doesn't work in Windows 10. I have no idea in how to sync photos in my computer. I tried to use Google photo but it could only upload my photos from my iPhone and cannot edit them.

You can't edit photos at iCloud.com either.
You could transfer the photos from your iPhone to your computer via USB cable: Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support
Other methods include via 3rd party apps such as http://www.photosync-app.com/ or via Dropbox.

I upgraded to iCloud 5 on Windows and there has been no change. For well over a year now my photo stream will not download.
