iPhone won't go back to lock screen

My iPhone won't come back on to the normal lock screen when I pressed the reset button on my settings since I was trying to reset my settings but not erase the content on my phone. Now I'm left with the Apple sign and a white line on my iPhone screen! Please help.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.4.1

Hi YeezyBoostYeezus,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that you reset the settings on your iPhone through by navigating to Settings > General > Reset, but after the reset, your iPhone will not turn back on as you would expect. All you see on the display is the Apple logo with a progress bar.

If this is the case, I would suggest working through the If your device turns on but gets stuck during start up section in the attached article below.

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on - Apple Support
