Hearthstone is running, but cannot see the application

Hey guys -

I posted this in the Blizzard forums, but no luck. I also had one of company's IT techs look at this and no luck.

I have Hearthstone (video game) on my mac and has never had any issues. Yesterday (and I am not sure what I did to do this), the application window seemed to all of a sudden simply not be there, even though the game cursor is viewable and the music is playing. My IT friend thinks there is something with the connection between the apple monitor and the macbook as I switch back and forth all of the time.

Steps taken so far:

1) Reboot

2) Uninstall and reinstall game (including manually removing all files)

3) Updating to 10.9.5 OS

I feel like this has to be something simple I am overlooking. Any ideas?
