Iphone 6 running iOS 8.4.1. I establish a group awhile ago to easily text a number of people at once. I no longer remember who all is in the group. How can I see the list of contacts that comprise the group?

In order to see who all is in the group message thread you have going, you should be able to check that in the Details when you have th thread open:
Send a group message with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
While viewing a conversation, tap Details, in the upper right.
