It sounds to me like your phone is not responding to anything at all. I would use the troubleshooting from the following article about that kind of an issue, named:
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on
If nothing in there works, then it does look like the phone will need service and there is a link to contact Apple if that is the case.
