How do you save an image after you have cut it from an image? Its appearing on the clip board but I don't know how to save it so I can use it on a Key note presentation.

What is this image, where is it located, as a file on the Mac, as an image in Keynote on a website?
If your image or cut of image is in the clipboard:
Open Preview and create new file ⌘N (New from Clipboard).
Save ⌘S and select name, destination and format (JPEG, PNG, etc.).
