Aug 29, 2015 6:21 PM in response to rozjacksonby Niel,Apple's USB SuperDrive requires more power than is normally allowed for an USB device, and therefore isn't intended for Macs which shipped with an internal one. If you want, you can get it to work by editing one of the computer's plist files.
Regardless of which SuperDrive or Mac you have, you’ll need to insert a CD or DVD into it to use it.

Aug 29, 2015 6:21 PM in response to rozjacksonby UGADog,Do not plug into a USB Hub or keyboard. Plug directly to Mac. If a Hub is not the issue, may I assume you have tried restarting? What else have you tried?
