Brand new MacBook Pro 2015 will not turn on

New 2015 MacBook Pro 15" will not turn on - just took the Mac out of the box; hooked up the power; pressed the power button - nothing. I waited 5, 10, 15, 30, now 45 min and still nothing. Any ideas? I'm replacing my 2011 MacBook Pro 15", but starting to think that was a bad choice.
