How it happened, I was editing photos on my phone, ( it was taking much longer to do )
I couldn't wait for them, Had to be somewhere, I shut it off, sleep/wake power button,
now I can't turn it on.
However, I did download the pic's from the phone to my Mac, no problem!
If your computer can still read your iPhone but your display remains black, then step 1 of that article above should resolve your issue.
If your screen is black or frozen
First, try to force your device to restart.
- Forcing your device to restart won't erase the content currently on your device.
- You can force your device to restart even if your screen is black or your buttons aren't responding.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time for at least 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.
