My apple IPhone won't let me get on Safari.

I keep getting a message about "Safari - Alert" Suspicious activity might have been detected. Major Security Issue. To fix it please call Support for Apple 1+800-457-5916 immediately! I called & they took over my laptop & told me that all my devices had been hacked - My network was hacked! Said I had a Major Hacking Issue. They of course said they could fix it for a fee of $170.00! I couldn't decide what to do so I told him that I wanted to think about it & he hung up on me....I don't know what to do!? I still can't get on Safari from my IPhone. Can anyone out there please help me? Thanks!

Clickhereand follow the instructions in the first paragraph of the last section.

You should erase your laptop’s internal drive and restore it from a backup made prior to calling the number.
