stop macbook from asking for password after lifting up screen to wake it

Before, I could close the lid for a few minutes while watching a show, and then open it and resume using it.

Now it immediately asks for my password, even if I closed it for 2 seconds.

My setting it on ask for password after 15 minutes after sleep. To test it, I manually clicked sleep and woke it up and it asked for my password. How can I fix this?

I'd recommend disabling the password requirement and test to make sure it went away, then re-enable it again at the setting you want and test it again. Hope it helps.
