My iphone doesnt want to turn on

I have a iphone 5c my phone is dead and doesn't want to charge. When i see the apple icon is turns off again can someone help me???

1) Have you tried a reset of the phone? Hold power and home key together while phone is plugged in until you see the Apple logo or a battery (about 10 seconds)

2) Try a different lightning cable

3) Try charging from different source (if not charging from adapter, try computer usb port)

4) Inspect your iPhone charging port. Is there visible debris you can remove, like lint?

So you have one of two things happening here:

1) Your battery is failed and does not retain enough charge to power on the device which will require service to fix.

-OR-

2) Its a software/firmware issue. Use If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on - Apple Support to troubleshoot the software/firmware.

If that does;t help, use http://locate.apple.com to find a service center (choose your country in the top right) or visit http://getsupport.apple.com
