Q: Cannot change the Start Conversation From iMessage setting to phone number

I just upgraded from an iphone 5 to a 6 today. I just started sending messages and everything is beginning from my iTunes account and not my phone number. I go under Setting and then Messages and I cannot change the Start Conversation From setting to my phone number. Is there something I need to change elsewhere to be able to change this?

Did you unlink your previous iPhone? Do you have the same telephone number as the previous iPhone? Check the following article carefully:
