My video's are blue and won't load

So I've made a video that goes for approx 20 minutes, and as i drag into the section where i can edit it, it's just blue and as you skim across the video it has audio, but when you click onto the video and play it, the whole entire app doesn't work and it shows (Final Cut Pro Not Responding) HELP!!
