How do I disable Safari internet auto play videos or music?

When I am on my iPad and using Safari with a background music playing, frequently the music stops because of an "auto play" video or music. I can't find a way to limit this so I have to "play" it ONLY if I want to stop what I am listening to to watch or hear it. Internet "auto play" content is getting out of control! it needs to be a user-selected feature.
