Password Request form pops up in Safari repeatedly

I'm on a Proxy based University network, which does censor sites. Other browsers have not shown any trouble running sites, it's Safari that i desperately want to use, but I keep getting the Password request form every 2 minutes, which Im supposed to see just once on login.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), MacBook Pro 2012 13"

If you mean the password prompt for the proxy, it's a known issue that Safari doesn't work well, or at all, with some web proxies that prompt for authentication. You've already found a workaround: use another browser.

Use FireFox or Chrome.
