Any way to find a photo easy in "all photos"

On my iPhone, if i'm in an album and I find a photo I want to delete, if I try it just removes it from that album. I have to then try and find it in "all photos" to actually be able to delete it forever.

Is there an easier way to find the photo so I can delete it? I have 1000's of photos now, and so it takes an age sometimes to find the one to delete.
