Q: MacPro struggling to boot up
I'm trying to use my external HDD...My Book Thunderbolt DUO. So, I need to plug my external in before I start my computer to use it in BOOTCAMP, right? Because plug n play isn't supported. When I do that, my computer starts up fine, the mouse has lights...but nothing shows up on my display.
Then I force shut down the MacPro. Disconnect the external, and boot it up without the external. No problem. Boots up like normal with the display working perfectly. Monitor is connected via HDMI, btw.
It seems to be struggling to boot up. One time, in DU, I got this error: The partition map needs to be repaired because there's a problem with the EFI partition's file system. But even after repairing it, the problem persists.
I'm not very tech savvy and appreciate the help. Thanks!
What I've done:
Reset NVRAM, etc
Re-installed MAC OSX, updated it to Yosemite, and fresh installed BOOTCAMP Windows 10
Safe mode fsck -fy
Repaired disk permissions, repair disk...
Mac Pro (Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
