Hi, I have noticed that all pictures I take with my iPhone 6 are really soft on the left side (landscape orientation). Is it a common issue? Has anybody had his or her phone replaced due to that?

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you have an issue with the rear facing camera on the iPhone. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

Thanks for the follow-up. Unfortunately it's more of a hardware issue in my case as all the pictures are always soft near the left edge. I know the community will not fix the problem but I'm trying to learn whether it's an isolated case or something that is rather common and will be considered as 'within specs'. In other words, whether it makes sense to ask for a replacement.
