Can you transfer your iTunes library from your pc to your new MacBook but keep it on your PC aswell? So be able to use it on both

You can set up to have library on two Mac but syncing is a problem in such a setup. If you purchase a song on one, it does not show up on the other and has to be manually downloaded. The better way is to use one Mac as the master (probably laptop so you can take music with you, assuming you have the space) and the other as a second device connected throughiCloud Music or Match orHome Sharing.

Yes. To do the transfer, copy the entire iTunes folder to a hard drive, and then from the hard drive to the PC.


If your existing library is not already consolidated, consolidate it first.
