From your question, it sounds like you are using the built in Nike+ Fitness app on your iPod nano and would like set your PowerSong. This is an awesome feature and the set-up is quick and easy. Use Nike+ Support | How do I set up a PowerSong? as a reference for setting up and using your PowerSong.

1. On the device's home screen, open the Nike+ Fitness app.
2. Press the "i" icon at the bottom-right corner.
3. Press "Run."
4. Press "PowerSong."
5. Select the song you want to add.
6. Start your workout in the app.
7. Press the "PowerSong" button to play your song.

Note: The Nike + iPod app is labeled Nike+ Fitness on your iPod nano.
