LOGIC Pro X amp

I've done some recording over the past 6 years using LOGIC Pro and LOGIC Pro X. I get my guitar/amp sounds using a DIGITECH RP355. I've managed to get some pretty good tones by tweaking the RP-355.

Now, I'm interested in trying the "amps" available in LOGIC Pro X via an APOGEE JAM. I've had the JAM for about 3 years but never really put it through its paces. The following is an example of a recording done with the RP-355 (2013)...*

I like this guitar tone and I'm wondering how close to this I can get using the amp sims/APOGEE Jam combination?

Is anyone else using this setup with any measure of success?

Thanks!

*The first solos/harmonies start at around 2:29 and repeat later, followed by a double tracked set of tracks near the end. The guitar is a 2004 GIBSON Les Paul R9
