In Yosemite using Numbers 3.0, I have created a "notebook" of 10 spreadsheets. The name tabs of each spreadsheet are way wider than their names. Is there a way to reduce the width of the name tabs so that I can see all 10 spreadsheet names at once? Thanks! Rick

No, we do not have control over the width of sheet tabs. See this thread adjusting tab widths to see a discussion on navigating sheets and tables including SG's Jump to Sheet Automator Service for jumping to a specific sheet in a document.
For clarity, a Numbers spreadsheet is a single document (What you are calling a "workbook"). In a document there can be many sheets each with their own tab. Each sheet is a canvas that can hold many tables, text boxes or other objects.
