ITunes not working in windows 10

Ever since I upgraded to windows 10. My iPod won't connect to iTunes. I have the latest version of iTunes and everything is updated. When I plug my iPod into my computer the iPod keeps asking to trust the computer. I keep clicking on trust. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I tried updating the driver but it's already up to date. I have also tried shutting them both down and powering back on. I really don't want to factory reset and lose everything.
