Anyone have solution for fan running high when computer is not being taxed in any way? I have done PRAM and SMC resets and nothing changes. Activity monitor shows nothing irregular.

You may have a failed sensor causing that. Please make an appointment at the Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar and take it in for service. If you are not in the USA or cannot set up an appointment this way, then contact your local Apple Store directly.
