iTunes and Sonos speakers- HELP!

Can somebody tell me if there should be certain preferences set on my iTunes in order for me to be able to stream iTunes (from desktop) to my Sonos speakers?

In my preferences do I have to have "Share my Library on my local network" checked off? I have it unchecked right now because I don't want want any music to fly over to my laptop and iPad. I only want my music on my desktop. Anyway, any help would be much appreciated! thanks
