AHT Error what can i do?

Hello all,

I had some problems with my first Macbook pro. I Bought this Macbook in this month and I observed some problems. for example, keyboard backlight doesn't work and microphone too.

Well, I searched about this problems, unfortunately I don't found the right answer. I called to the Brazilian apple support and they help me and said for me about the Apple Hardware Test. I Did the test and the test resulted this problem: 4MEM/61/40000000: 0x84d09e18

What can i do with this code? you can help me about this problems or this code?

Macbook pro (early 2011) 15' Intel Core i7 2,2 GHz , 8GB.

OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

That is a MEMory error. If you were thinking of upgrading the memory, NOW is a good time.

You can try re-seating the RAM modules.

Hi guys, i'll do this, re-seating the RAM modules if works i come back here and send my feedback xD else .. I'll buy a new RAM ( 16 GB 😀).

One more time, thanks guys to helps me.

Another thing, when i solve this problem the backlight and microphones come back to work or not ?

Take one RAM module and test it in each bay and then do the same with the other RAM module. This should indicate if you have a bad RAM module or a bad RAM connection.
