How much would it cost Apple to restore my iPad in the store?

If you mean what I think you mean then do this:

connect ipad to PC open iTunes app first back up the iPad and then when it is done click on restore

when your restore is done your iPad will turn on and it will be like you first got it out of the box then you can restore from the back up

NOTE: keep your iPad connected through the whole process

Restore to factory settings? They may do a restore at the Genius Bar for free. You can make a reservation here.

Other than that, a nomininal fee possibly of $25 or higher. It may depend on how busy they are.

In addition if you can make a iCloud backup before going to the store. They can't restore your iTunes backup.

Have you got a pc?

If you have follow thease steps.

Turn OFF iPad

Connect lead to USB on your PC

Press & hold power button on iPad DONT let go.

Connect lead to iPad keep power button pressed down

Until PC sees iPad then wait for restore .

You may need to do this more than once before it works.
