startup chime not working
The startup chime has stopped on my mac mini. How to I get it going again
Mac mini, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)
If you don't hear the status chime that can mean your Mac has not passed it's startup diagnostics.
You could try using OS X Recovery to repair the startup disk if necessary and restore OS X, or make an appointment at a Genius Bar.
If you can't get to an Apple Store, look for an authorized service provider > Apple - Find Locations
