I can't find my photos from my previous iPhone on my new iPhone. I think I changed Apple ID password when I changed phones. How can I retrieve them?

If the photos were in your iCloud photo library, then you will need to log into iCloud with your Apple ID and enable iCloud photo library. If you have forgotten your password for your Apple ID you can reset it at iForgot.apple.com
I Believe that is done. There is one shared album in my library. All my other special albums are gone.
Shared albums aren't part of iCloud Photo Library, are you sure you've enabled iCloud Photo Library.
