I have a cassette deck and a cable which sometimes does but mostly doesn't record audio from the deck into an app in the iPhone.
Most of the time, the cable simply doesn't work, and the iPhone records ambient sound, even though the cable is plugged into the iPhone jack.
Is there any way to use mic or input jack with the iPhone?????

of cause it will only do mono so connect the channel of the cassette deck you wish to record and bobs your uncle
