safari on yosemite has stopped working, restarts sometimes fixes this, how can i fix safari

Go step by step and test.

1. Empty Caches

Safari > Preference > Advanced

Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".

Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.

Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.

2. Delete Cookies

Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:

Click the “Details” button.

Remove all cookies except ones from Apple, your internet service provider and banks.

3. Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Turn off Extensions if any and launch Safari again to test.

Turn on those one by one and test.

Yesterday I used Safari for the last time, what did I use it for? Downloading Firefox. Safari kept freezing, go tired of emptying cash, history, web sites, restart, wait of for loading etc etc.

I wished Apple had taken this problem serious. I am running Yosemite on a brand new MacBook Pro. I like the layout of Safari more than any other browser but functionality should come first, right (Apple)?

You are entitled to 90 day telephone support from Apple. Try contacting them.

Calling them is like having the same answer as above. If I would ask my apple store they would say they don't recognise the problem with Safari. I believe I wait and follow what happens, perhaps they manage to do something about it or not. Firefox runs smooth as a honey in a soaped bath tub.
