Can't edit .mov video with DVCPRO 50 format and AVdv codec

In a previous Mac Install (that started with Snow Leopard and ended with Yosemite), I was able to play on QuickTime and edit in non-Mac software (like Adobe Premiere) some files in .mov DVCPRO 50 format and AVdv codec. Now, for unrelated reason, I'm using a clean Yosemite install and I can't play these files on QuickTime nor edit them in Premiere as I used to do (it says "codec missing or unavaliable"). They play well in other software like VLC, but still I wish to being able to edit them in Premiere Pro as I used to do that, yet I don't remember of what setting I was using before.

Adobe Premiere Pro-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
