Remote that will work with Macbook Pro Retina 2013

I do quite a lot of presentations in front of a moderately large audience and prefer to be able to walk around and forward the slides with a remote--since getting my MacBook Pro Retina Display in Dec. 2013, I've not been able to do so as the infra red won't work with that model.

Any ideas? I can't find anything that says it will work, nor is there, to my knowledge, a correspondingly new remote.
