the native camera app for my iPad is missing, how can i get it back?

The native camera app on my daughter's (age 7) iPad is missing. I can't find it in the App store. Is there a way to get it back?

iPad, iOS 8.4.1

Check: Settings - General - Restrictions - Camera = ???

You can also try, if it is not in restrictions, going to Settings > General > Reset > Restore Home Screen Layout.

Also, you can swipe down on the home page so you get the spotlight search function and type Camera and that should show you that the app is there, tap the camera icon and when you close it should reappear on the home page.

Or, possibly you have an iPad 1 (the original) which does not have a camera anyway.
