How to move files to an external disc - not copy

Hi there,

I recently bought a Transcend Jetdrive to permanently sit in my Macbook Pro's SD card slot.

Usually when you drag and drop a file from your computer to an external disc, it copies the file there rather than moving it. However, with my Transcend SD I am treating it as an extension to my hard drive storage, so I want files dragged onto it / a folder on it to be moved rather than copied.

Is there any way to set this preference for just the Transcend SD card?

Many thanks!

Hold command while dragging. Note: If there’s a file with that name already you’ll get a dialog asking if you want to replace or keep both. Keep the command key held while you answer that dialog.
