Network on my iPhone 5s is showing in numbers . How to fix it ?

network on my iPhone 5s is showing in numbers (-77). When is tap the network is shows in dots but after a while it goes back to numbers . . What should I do to get my network reflected in dots permanently.

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4.1

Launch the field test mode - dial *3001#12345#* and hit the “Call” button.

Let it load and then hit the home button to close out the app.

Your dots will be restored.
