Q: the iphone could not be restored unknown error occurred 3194

Hi

Just follow thease steps it may work it may not .

Turn OFF iPhone

Connect lead to USB on your PC

Press & hold power button down  Don't let go on iPhone .

Connect lead to iPhone keep power button

Pressed down until PC sees iPhone .

Wait for restore .

You may need to do this a few times before it works.

If it doesn't contact Apple to send you a packing box if

You can't get to an Apple Store .

Exactly how are you trying to update? If you manually downloaded the ipsw file you might get this error. The correct way is to connect to iTunes on your computer, click on its icon in iTunes, and click "Check for updates." And if that fails, click Restore iPhone.
