Unable to send Imessage

Hi,

I use Iphone 5c. Currently I have iOS 8.4.1. I am unable to send imessage and use facetime. After a lot of troubleshooting I figured out that this has something to do with the phone time. I have set the time on the phone 1 hour ahead and want to continue that way (its always been that way). I could use iMessage and Facetime earlier but unable to use it now. Please help.

Set the time correctly or let it set itself automatically from the cell network. Why do you want your phone to display a incorrect time?

It's a computer. Communications often require time synchronization to work correctly. If you insist on setting it incorrectly, then don't expect it to work reliably.
