Daisy Chain or using both thunderbolt ports MBPr?

Hi guys!,

Since a few days I have a MacBook Pro Retina.

And you may know it has two thunderbolt ports.

I also have two Thunderbolt Displays.

Now is my question, what is better:

Connecting the two display's to both of the thunderbolt ports on the MacBook or Daisy Chain them and use one port?

I have no idea, and I couldn't find something one the interwebs.

Please let me know what you think or know?

Thanks!

Jasper

Your computer has only one Thunderbolt bus (with two connectors) so the performance should be the same either way. If you use separate connectors for each display, you can shut off one display (by unplugging its power or Thunderbolt plug) without affecting the other display.
